I really don't think so. It does look old.

Agreed. One of the best looking cars imo. Looks very modern, and always will I think.

It looks a hell of a lot more modern than the C4, which horribly failed the test of time.

Looks good till you actually drive one and feel the semi cheapness of it. Like a used one needs a lot of mods to feel better inside.

Too young to tell IMO.

It definitely looks very 90s "melted bar of soap". It's aged better than expected but no one would look at it and not think "90s/2000s" car instantly.

I'm not so sure, the C5 is 18 years old.

I didn't know until just right now that it's a 90's model. I would have easily thought it was released at least in the year 2000.

I guess so, but it hasn't even hit collector/historic registration in many states. Hasn't hit bottom in pricing yet either.

I'm hoping it doesn't become a collector's item. I'd like to own one some day.

It's not Fecal Brown.
It's not a Wagon.
It's not a Miata.

It will, and you will still be able to afford one. Maybe not a special edition but maybe a C5Z or so.

Designed in the 90s. I remember when it came out, it was generally considered already a bit dated by 2003. It was the car that a Subway franchise owner would buy.

Nooooooooooope. It is very, very much a product of the time in which it was developed. All melted, '90s, jellybean body and the worst interior of any Corvette, ever.
Also, the C4 failing the test of time depends very much on which particular C4 you are referring to. 1984? Yeah, that'll fail pretty hard. A 1991+? If it's been taken care of, people still think those are on the newer side of things.

2008 - 9 Audi s6
New enough to have escaped the bar of soap era, but old enough not to HUUURRR ANGRY HEADLIGHTS
A very professional, sharp looking car to this day
(plus dat v10)
My dad had one, but he sold it. Even though the 7 series he has now is a full second or so faster to 60, the s6 felt faster because of throttle response and no turbo lag.

That's a terrible argument and you should feel bad for those words ever leaving your mouth/keyboard.
